Having read the "how well do we know each other" thread it seems some of us are lost without our weekly party on here ... I wondered if anyone wants to join me here later for a Eurovision knees-up??? :j :j
I will be needing some cheering up cos ds will be off to daddys house in about an hour and what better way than a bit of Terry Wogan and a few nil points???

Hi Benben - To be perfectly honest, it's really only Terry Wogan's cynically funny commentary that makes me even watch Eurovision. But watch it I will.
I don't think much of the UK entry's chances - unless, of course, we are aiming for the wooden spoon  .
In saying that, though, I really do admire the effort put in by some countries - especially the smaller ones. I don't think they realise the cost implications if they win, and have to host it next year.
Still it's good entertainment - we'll all be watching, and the best of luck to everyone.:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Terry wogan makes me laugh every time... Do you remember that 'dana international' that won a few years back...? Now THAT was funny.

The COUNTRY of course - I just couldn't remember the name.
It is strange that 99% of Eurovision songs are instantly forgotten, but the odd one comes along, such as Lordi, and you remember the song, but not the country.
PS - I think it was Denmark:rolleyes: :rolleyes:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
