Some advice please.?

Hi i have had my sainsburys credit card for a few years now but not been using it for a while,
anyway I have just been offered a 0 % from Sainburys credit card for a balance transfer. But I don,t need it yet , i n 5 months it would be lovely. Does anyone know if I asked them in 5 months would they be likely to offer me this offer again when I need it. ? Any help would be lovely thanks ...

Lots of cards offer balance transfers to existing customers regularly, you could ring them in five months and ask them, there may be an offer available on your account.

I don't have a Sainsbury's card, but my Barclaycard has a near permanent 12 month 0% offer sitting there, NatWest send me offers periodically (nothing for a while though) and MBNA have them appear in my online account now and again.
  • I get regular offers from Lloyds and MBNA SO i WOULD SAY YES there is a good chance that they will offer you a suitable deal in the future.
If not and your credit score warrants it then you could always apply elsewhere.

But the OP won't ever know their credit score as lenders have different criteria.

Sainsburys offered me a deal in Sept, which i took advantage of.
They then offered me another in Jan which I also took advantage of.

So I'd say yes they will offer deals every few months.
  • Thanks for all your answers x

Customers that repay debts on time tend to get repeat offers.
If you pay everything on time, do not exceed any limits, and do not have items returned for lack of funds you will tend to get new offers.:D
  • I always pay on time, and never go over my limit, so here's hoping they offer it again in 5 months..

Because your thread title was useless! Most posters start a thread because they want advice.

No doubt people viewed to see if it was an area they could help with and then realised they couldn't.
