Favourite slow cooker recipe

I bought a slow cooker a few months ago and haven't really been fussed about anything I've made in it. I know a lot of people on here love them therefore could some of you post some of your favourite tried and tested recipes. I have a 3 week old baby and 20 month old toddler so it would be a handy way to prepare dinner.
Thanks in advance

To be honest, I'm a bit meh about the stew/casserole type dishes I cook in the slow cooker. I love to use the slowcooker for the simple reason that I can throw stuff in in the morning and come home from work to a perfectly edible dinner that I don't have to start cooking. Might not be the most gorgeous grub but simple and easy sometimes trumps cordon bleu!
The thing I love it for most is cooking a chicken. I've never been very good at separating meat from bone and while an oven roast chicken is yummy, its so much easier to strip a slow cooked chicken. Just put the bird in the bowl with a splash of water and leave for 6 hours or so. I reckon I can get an extra dinner for the two of us out of the leftovers if I slow cook it. And that's without really using the stock that comes out of it. If I put an onion and maybe a bit of celery in the bottom before chucking the chicken in, the juice that comes out over the cooking time makes a great base for soup too. Easiest way to "rubberise" chicken in my opinion0 -
Not sure if it's baby/toddler friendly but our recent new favourite is pulled pork. Pork joint with a homemade BBQ sauce (mostly white vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar and some spices), left for at least 6-8 hours. You 'pull' (i.e. shred) it with two forks and serve the delicious shreds in a bun (or you could do it in a sandwich, on a jacket potato, with mashed potato, etc.). Absolutely delicious with coleslaw, and I'm not even really a coleslaw fan - they complement each other brilliantly though.0
