Business Insurance

I am thinking of starting a small business selling second hand clothing, would appreciate any advice to what insurance to take out. Thanks Pam

    Assuming its just you doing it then legally there is no need for any insurance however Public Liability generally would be considered highly sensible. Anyone you contract with (eg market companies, landlords etc depending on what your plans are) may however stipulate that you must have certain insurances up to a certain amount (eg Public Liability or Buildings etc)

    The only other considerations will be checking with your home insurance if you are intending to store stock at home and/ or mortgage and/ or council etc if your planning to run the business from home
