Cant seem to pay the guy......

Hiya!
Just a quick question;
I won a item on ebay last saturday and with the seller permission i was going to pay today, but when i tried to pay by paypal this morning with the invoice he had sent me on the 9th April (i clicked on the paynow button) it says system error please tri again, then it carries on saying, '
System Temporarily Unavailable. We are unable to locate the information you are requesting. Please try again later.'
So i asked the guy if he could send me another invoice but its saying the same thing again. and this has been happeing all day.
its Saturday 2mo, i cant get to the post office, i have no cheque book to send it off, i scared that he's going to think that i am mucking him around (plus i am a newbie - 3 points, 100% feedback.) to give me a bad feedback,
why cant i pay him?

Have you gone in from "my ebay" and have you clicked on paypal to pay?
I have never had this so cant really help much sorry

I have no option to pay on the my ebay. where there should be option for Pay now. many options (which does'nt help me ) *under the action part.
goodness me! all i really wanna do is PAY!!!!!!!!!!
the seller aint answering back either0 -
If you know the sellers paypal email address (I assume it would be in the email/invoice somewhere) then why not just log into paypal and pay that way? or am I missing something?0

Login to Ebay, go to the item listing and click the 'pay now' button there?0
