Sent identical loan agreements one with PPI shown one without. Intentional deceit ?

It's also laughable you can make those claims when you claim to have experienced those difficulties yourself in your own ppi reclaim thread causing you to have to complain to the CEO and that was well after the fight in the high court so who are you trying to convince
My personal difficulty came only when I actually had my complaint upheld.
I wasn't lied to, the Bank simply did not receive my acceptance of the redress awarded to me. I wrote to the CEO to speed up the payment and to make sure there were no more administrative errors.
Just to reiterate, at no point was I lied to during the course of my successful complaint. The redress was in the region of £20,000.0 -
I think you're making this far more complicated and convoluted than it needs to be. All you really have to do is give Barclays a ring, give them the loan number, and put a missell complaint in. As I understand it you haven't even reached that step yet, you're busy finding flaws with the SARS team who don't even deal with anything PPI related other than to print out and send copies of what's on the system...
Why exactly are you trying to make this so difficult for yourself?
I'm not making this difficult. I'm building and strengthening this case. I don't take lightly to being lied to by my bank whether it was in error or not I have been mis lead by a PPI PreQual I did not even request.
It appears to be sent in the banks best interests to reduce their workload.. I paid £10 waited several weeks and it's been returned with errors in. Not acceptable!. No doubt due to they rushed an automated scan that is not accurate or adequate enough to do the job correctly.
What makes it worse the loan agreements look very basic & generic and they have access to two versions one with PPI & one without so what am I to believe.
I very much suspect they will reject the complaint and state the T&C's gave a money back guarantee
"Money-back guarantee if you change your mind: If after taking out Barclayloan protection and reading the policy, you do not want to continue with the insurance please return you policy to us. Please do this within 30 days of receiving the policy. As long as you have not made a claim, nor intend making one, we will cancel your policy and give you your money back. After 30 days, if you cancel, any refund of premium will reduce throughout the term of the loan"
They've not provided me with any signed loan agreements. All loan agreements are unsigned & conveniently for the 'Barclay loan Protection - Guide to Insurance' is on a single page at the back. Easy for it to be manipulated added or removed when suited.
Their is one more loan agreement prior to the current one. which I suspect has had PPI also. In the PPI PreQual it shows Barclayloan, Protected 'U' for unconfirmed due to their "Systems search as yet cannot identify whether there was a PPI sale for a small number of products such as Mortgages" I suspect the in branch system search was also unable to detect that unconfirmed loan.
Yet no disclaimer was made that their system search is unable to detect a small number of products accept for Barclaycard which she gave me the number for Barclays Insurance Dublin and she assured me that going to the extent of requesting a SAR was not necessary as it's easy as visiting any branch to enquire and complain about PPI
Which ever way you look at it whether I just visited my local branch and questioned if I had ever been sold PPI I would not have known about their system search being unable to detect a small number of products and the Barclayloan Protected (unconfirmed) is not a mortgage.
The SAR returned a loan settlement statement with no loan agreement for the unconfirmed Barclayloan, Protected.
On my other current case sent me a loan agreement indicating no payment protection insurance was taken out (backed up by the PPI PreQual) which has found not to be the case by my local branch who has printed me off an identical loan agreement displaying a separate column for premium loan with additional details under T&C's.
I fail to see how I've made this difficult and to think this could potentially affect a large number of people as well. I have little confidence & trust in them so do not expect me to hand over the full responsibility of this case to Barclay's as they're doing a lousy jobMoneyineptitude wrote: »Did you actually read that thread before linking to it?

Doesn't matter dude. Your statement implied the banks are more cooperative in paying out redress. If you had not directly complained to the CEO It could have possibly been delayed for months going the FSA route. It's really not worth talking to you. All your other posts on this forum are contradictory, and come from a perspective of persecution mixed with some righteous indignation.
I have zero tolerance to being ripped off in this country and it comes at a time of having to wait up to 3 months for a tax refund (still waiting) due to unreasonable delays, mistakes and yes lies!
Overpayment dates back to tax year 2010 to 2011. First claiming repayment was sent out in November 2011. I did not receive and was not aware I had overpaid till January 14th 2013 which is when I called them to request repayment. Was told previous cheque would be canceled followed by an investigation and then reissued.. I waited 6 weeks phoned back and was told payment had been re-issued on 28th January 2013 again stated I have not received and requested payment by alternative method ie bank deposit which I had to request in writing. two weeks elapse I phone for a status update no record that my letter has been received or acted on and that they would write to me by Friday I hung up the phone thinking that was the end of the conversation.
Then re-dialed and spoke to a different adviser to explain I had not been receiving HMRC's mail and that I would not receive their expected letter. He asked me what my address was then claimed it was incorrect and that they had a different street address (same house number but the road in front) I questioned how that had happened & it stated their records where updated due to receiving a P46 form that had been received by my employer when I started work.
I personally filled out a physical P46 form at the request of HR in order for them to be able to pay me and I definitely did not write down the incorrect address.. beside if the address was changed in October 2012 then why wasn't the original repayment sent out in November 2011 received ? and why was it not revealed or investigated when they said they would look into it before re-issuing the new payment.
Also 5 times that I called them I gave my national insurance number, full name, full address, date of birth and former employer why wasn't I told the address they had on record was different. (they could have also used that as an opportunity to update my address since it came verbally from ME) not a P46 which I suspect they guy resorted to making up lies
First they suggested "They've been doing their jobs and sending payment out" despite holding no record/proof/receipt etc and that I take it up with the post office. Then they suggested my former employer was at fault and sent them the wrong address via P46, I requested a copy of that P46 and was told NO.. he would update my records for me now as to say all delivery issues have been solved "just give it a further 10 days for payment to show up at your bank" and just to add there seems no apparent problems or issues with receiving mail from HMRC's as they sent 5 items of mail yes 5 to my brother who has only recently just moved back in to state they overpaid on child tax credits and require the money back. Marvelous.
Money which would be useful to buy a 125 to better improve job prospects to which I do not receive JSA due to the same target culture, manipulation and blackmailed onto welfare to work program (A4E) which parked me with-in the first day of the course causing me to be unfairly sanctioned and don't get me started on the NHS (GP's/Dentists)0 -

Hi.
I have recently tried to claim back ppi on two bank loans and have been told they were paid off over seven years ago, and subsequently they dont have any details apart from the loan account numbers. Would a subject access request be of any use to me? i have statements detailing loan payments etc.
many thanks0 -
