Praise for Santander

Santander seem to take a bit of flak on these boards.

We have just set up a 123 account and it has gone without a hitch. Just through the first month and the cashback has more than covered the £2 monthly fee. The first months interest has also appeared.

Not sure it's that easy to get 3% instant access these days so my advice is to set up a 123 account. We did everything on-line but arranged direct debit transfer ourselves.

The on-line interface is clean and easy to use - don't believe all the moans, it's really good....
