If you are after a breville opula set it's a good time to buy from Amazon wharehouse deals.
These are returned items/seconds, in good or like new condition. Some with just the outer packaging damaged or missed, others with very minor damage but you can return them for free, I've had a couple of things where just the packaging was damaged or missing and the item was in perfect conditions
, and a toaster with some very minor cosmetic damage but £15 off.

    Fantastic, great savings :j
Was it from Amazon Wharehouse? With them you get free-returns with not hassle whatsoever, with other sellers I'm not sure, you'd probably have to pay to return the item.
    Well done!

Yes it was from the Warehouse. I bought lots of things from there before, the best ever was a Vax steam system for £36 (full price was £129), the only thing wrong with it was a dent in the box.

Take great care with these - here's a very recent post from HUKD:

"I bought a 'Used - Like New' Samsung SIII from Amazon Warehouse - it arrived yesterday in a condition far from 'Like New'. It has several scratches to the camera lens, one quite deep - in my opinion, the phone shouldn't have been resold at any condition rating let alone 'Like New'. The scratches are obvious - I struggle to see how Amazon missed them when classifying the conditition of the phone.

I was really looking forward to the phone arriving. I was so disapointed when I saw the condition it was in.

This has really knocked my faith in Amazon."

Thank you so much! My toaster has just packed in and so I was looking for a good deal on one! I've just bought one of the breville ones for £25.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible just to search amazon warehouse or if you have to search for the item you're interested in on amazon and then click on new and used to see if it's available from the warehouse?

    Yes you can :)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/b?ie=UTF8&node=304071031 you can either browse by category or just type the particular item in the search bar and it will search just the warehouse ;)

Just wanted to add re quality, I have had 4 or 5 different items from Amazon Warehouse, most expensive was a small Dyson, and in every case the quality of the item has been as described or better eg one 'nearly new' item was brand new and sealed when received.

I've bought several items too, all have been "as new". Panasonic combi-microwave for about £70 - rrp nearly £200, a 10 litre steel pedal bin for £13, rrp £65! Latest purchase is a LG 47" 3D smart TV for £570 :D. Amazon Warehouse is my first port of call for price comparisons, bearing in mind models are often just on the verge of being discontinued!
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
