Do I need to transfer 2 direct debits AND/OR standing orders?

"To get these perks, use its Account Transfer Service to move at least two direct debits and standing orders"

Does that mean 4 in total, or 2 of either?

You should consult the T&Cs of the bank account you want to open, not an MSE write-up. Which bank account are we talking about?

Looks like the Santander 123 account.

The write-up is, indeed, shall we say, lacking a little in attention to detail because it only needs 2 DDs.

Ah right. If the 123, it certainly doesn't need any SOs - you can have them, of course, but they are of no significance.

And you certainly do not have to "use its Account Transfer Service" to "get these perks".
