Went to collect one for my daughter on Wednesday in my local store, they had all gone and the assistant said I could not have anything else instead as it was subject to availability.:(

We took two vouchers into our local T's today. There weren't any left so they substituted them for two tiny Lindt bunnies instead.

I couldn't find the Malteaser bunnies either, but the coupon scanned through the self checkout when I put through the Cadbury's Caramel Bunnies :j

That ridiculous, I'm sure there will be thousands of people that haven't claimed their Malteser Bunny's yet....they cant give thousands and thousands away and not be prepared when people come to claim. It sounds from peoples experiences on here that Tesco are being very inconsistent when the product has ran out, I understand it may be store discretion buts its unfair. Did you go and ask the customer service desk? If so why not fire a polite email off to Tesco customer services explaining and I'm sure they'll help - I've always found there customer services very good.

Does anyone have a copy of the terms and conditions about substituting for another product?

    Found it: https://www.tescofindtheeggs.com/terms

The exact same thing happened to me when I went to collect two bunnies for me and my OH. I was made to feel quite small for mentioning the substitution on the email that they're supposed to give. So far I've tried a large Tesco, a Tesco Express and a Tesco Direct (all within walking distance) with no luck. This is getting ridiculous.:(

I had 4 coupons but didn't want to redeem them all in one go so I went into Tesco at about 9 o'clock this morning and the lady behind the customer service desk said they were giving caramel bunnies away instead and had a box of them on a shelf at the back. She gave me 2 and that was that.

I went back 2 hours later to redeem the other 2 coupons (making sure it was a different staff member of course ;)) and she said she'd been working the desk all week and hadn't heard about them giving away alternatives. She asked another staff member who also said they weren't doing alternatives so had to put a call through for the floor manager to come. In the end I didn't bother waiting and told her not to bother but it just goes to show it all depends on which member of staff you get as they're never told the same thing.

Went to my local store and there was barely any easter eggs... and of course no bunnies!

Honestly, i didn't even try to substitute for anything else as the store was buzzing and there was a long queue at the customer service desk.Tbh, there really wasn't anything i could substitute for the same price. The shelves were pretty much empty.

The staff at my local always read the terms and conditions and as the voucher says nothing about the substitution, i didn't bother.

I got my voucher this morning, the competition seemed to end really quickly one minute they had thousands of prizes left, and next it was over.
    I love this place :j:T:j

I managed to pick a bunny up in the Tesco Metro in Darlington today, two boxes of them were hidden away on a bottom shelf.
