Yes, went into our local Tesco today (in Gloucestershire so it happens) and they only had the mini ones. I asked and was told they were out and wouldn't be having any more in until after Easter. It feels a little as though Tesco are regretting this promotion.

Same in Bradley Stoke, Bristol. :(

  • Just ate mine, Yum!

    Thanks.
  • My local Tesco had hardly any Easter eggs left by 5pm today. No sign of any Malteaser bunnies to redeem for my vouchers.

I went to Customer Services and the lady had a list of other items I could redeem my voucher for. I had the choice of caramel bunnies, a tiny Lindt bunny, a white chocolate something!. I chose an Aero milk chocolate lamb which was really lovely.

My local Tesco's were also sold out of the Malteaster eggs but instead took the voucher for Caramel eggs instead. Note that the offer suggests that if they are out of stock to take your voucher to customer services, where they will provide an alternative.

Have looked several times in big Tescos, in Dorset and in Gloucestershire, but not found these malteaser bunnies (except in their miniature form - not the version the voucher is for).

But followed deltasbutterfly's suggestion today and found them in a display at the tills (not in the main shop) in a Tesco cornershop. So, if you can't find them in a big Tesco, try a small one.

On offer at buy 2 get 1 free as well - so with voucher you effectively buy 1 and get 2 free. Or just go for 1 free.

PS that info about taking to customer services for exchange for something else is NOT on the voucher. It's stated on the website when you successfully claim a voucher.

I knew I'd read it somewhere about being able to claim an alternative at customer services.

No bunnies in our shop, got Milky Bar white rabbits instead, no problem.

  • I was given 60p x2 for the 2 vouchers at my Tesco which I preferred to be honest.
    It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

They ran out?! Damn! My gym were collecting for a local charity, I can't eat chocolate anymore (already cried many tears over this) and was going to donate mine to the charity- the end date does say the 5th April so if they are getting any more in I suppose it's better then nothing- but kind of misses the point if the big day is the 3rd of April and not the 5th...
