  • I thought the reason for having a part 1 theory test was to ensure that those who had not grasped the basics of vehicle and road law did not progress to the part 2.

Use rain x or the like on the windscreen no need for wipers over 40mph then, but don't go doing 40 in a 30, unless you think that is legal too ;)

What happens when a lorry flicks up loads of mud and debris on your windscreen? I'm betting ops also the type of person to drive in snow without having cleared the rear and side windows or wiping snow of the lights which render them pointless

Actually, for your information I ensure my vehicle is completely clear of snow before driving you judgmental !!!!. I posted this as I wanted some advice not have personal childish insults thrown my way.

As some people do have to earn a living & cant rely on public transport and before you keyboard warriors start commenting that is not an excuse maybe I will start being judgmental and bet most of the people who have replied to this thread don't even have jobs!

There used to be a product called something like Rain Wizard and it came in what can only be described as a pink dildo. For a couple of weeks after applying it I didn't use my wipers at all, the rain just washed straight off. Oddly enough I don't see it for sale any more although I've still got half a dildos-worth in the garage.
