I'm disabled and am currently with bg who supply a USB top up device for gas and elec I was thinking of switching but cannot seem to find any info on any other suppliers sight about this is bg the only company doing this ? Thx in advance

    It's something we're certainly looking at but, at the moment, it's only at the research stage.

    ... and it seems like Scottish Power will probably charge you for their PowerPod (the device to actually top up your key card)

    Is this with a prepay meter? If you switch to a credit meter then you can pay online with most companies. You will then also have access to the full range of tariffs (and if you are home a lot then savings can be significant).
