CR file clean-up - What documents to include?
Options
Hi,
When going through the credit reference file clean-up process, what documents pertaining to my DRO should I include with the letters I send to the data controllers?
As you get no discharge letter from the DRO office, the only two things I have are a screen-shot of my online Insolvency Register entry (taken after the discharge date) and a copy of the original order letter.
However, the plain text format used on the online Insolvency Register doesn't look very convincing as official confirmation of being discharged from the DRO, whereas the original DRO order letter obviously doesn't say you have been discharged yet, and also includes information about your debts with other creditors which you may not want to pass on to each individual creditor, despite already being discharged.
To sum up, neither of the above seem very adequate as an official document to confirm you have been discharged from the debts on the DRO. Which is why I'm kind of unsure about what to send...
Thanks for any advice on this.
