I am attempting to reinstall Windows XP Home with SP2 on a desktop PC, I have got through a good part of the instal but the process stops all the time with 13 minutes remaining at the "registering components" part of the installation. I have tried restarting on a few occasions but it still stops at the 13 minute point and there does not appear to be any activity.
I would be grateful for any assistance.
Thanks!

Also, remove all USB devices during the setup process, it could be hanging when trying to register a usb stick, wireless adapter, printer, etc.0
