Techie help needed re home pc please!

 Hi, I'm on virgin bb, running a pc with windows xp media.
I've currently got avg free anti virus installed, along with avg anti-spyware and comodo firewall.

I'm not sure if what i have installed is enough?

Also, my daughter would like to access the net from her room - how do I go about setting up a wireless connection? What will i need, is it easy to do - is all my protection going to be enough?

i'm sorry if I sound a bit thick, please be gentle!

Also, the comodo keeps flashing up warnings every time I try to do anything on the net, and the anti spyware option to update is greyed out - any ideas?

AVG anti spyware only updates automatically for 30 days but you can do a manual update by running the main program (if you right click on the grey box you can stop it starting on start up )

as for Comodo you have to tick the litlle box on the bottom left when it flashes up a warning to get it to remember to ignore the program (as long as you know what it is, if unsure then google it to find out what it is) and the warnings will stop

    You'll need:-

1- a DSL wireless router to plug into your Virgin BB Cable DSL Connection

    and

2- a wireless adapter (USB or PCI) for the upstairs computer, unless it's a wireless laptop or laptop with wireless PC Card.

unless they are an original Virgin ADSL (phone line) customer in which case you need a wireless router modem
