                    Hi,
I went to a restaurant with my baby on Friday. Didn't notice the signs and was over the allowed 2.5 hours in the free carpark. Today I received a fine from Civil Enforcement Ltd for £150 or £75 if I pay in 14 days. I've seen lots of people saying its not legal and to ignore. Is this true? Can they take me to court?

            No. don't pay.
 For lots of reasons.
£150 not even compliant with BPA CoP.0

If this is England or Wales its not compliant of the bpa code of practice. It's also not a fine! Complain to the restaurant demand that they sort this out, tell them you will rubbish reviews on the net for them, and will tell your friends and family to avoid them.
But don't pay this outrageous demand, they don't deserve or entitled to your moneyWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
