Do Some Companies Still Transfer No Claims from Motoribike to Car?

Reading up on some old posts i see that some companies in the past allowed motorbike no claims to be used as part of discount when getting a car quote, i have been through these today, companies such as Caroline Nash, Churchill, Hastings. None of these do this anymore,
Does anyone know of any company (other than eCar) that allow this 1 year No claims bonus? it reduces my premium from £4,600 to £3799, btw this is on a renault clio 2004 1.1 8v
thanks guys

Dont choose small cars that learners and young drivers use.
Choose some oddball cars. Get the autotrader and stick the distance and budget in and let it search the bargains for you.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
ive tried loads of cars

I have tried most probably every 1.0 - 1.25l engine going!
the new vauxhall cosra is cheapest at £4000, i wish one company would offer the motorbike No claims on a car policy, would help me out so much and save a bucket load of notes!0 -
I've never had a company allow me to do that I'm afraid. I'm amazed any did to be honest.
Try Co-Op if it is young driver policy you need and try the tricks of adding a parent (not insuring in their name which is fronting but adding them as a driver) to see what that does. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
I had a similar problem in the past. But mine was transferring van NCB to a car policy. None of the big companies would do it. I eneded up going to my local Swinton branch and having a chat with a very helpful member of staff.
He quickly was able to tell me which companies would do what I needed.
You could try giving your nearest Swinton branch a ring - they might be able to help you.0 -
I remember getting angry about this a few years ago.
As far as i'm aware no company allows you to transfer motorcycle no claims to cars, despite the opposite being true if you crash a motorbike, or receive points while riding one and then try to insure a car.
Insurance companies really are unbelievable in their behavior and the ludicrous level of premiums they charge... £4000?! I'd love to see the risk breakdown for that.
If they hadn't spent years and years profiting from injury lawyer referral fees, our car insurance would be about half what it is right now.
Every year the number or road deaths and injuries goes down, cars are getting safer and safer, with airbags, safety cells, ABS, stability control etc etc yet insurance premiums are so high that I rarely see young people driving any more - yet no win no fee lawyers are now sponsoring radio stations and TV shows!0 -
My husband did this a few years ago when we had 2 cars for a brief period, he had over 10 years NCD and they transferred whatever their maximum was (9years?) I think it might have been esure we were with but it was a few years ago so maybe things have changed since then2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Carole Nash allows you to transfer a motorcycle NCD to a car.

1L - 1.25L = high risk cars bought by new drivers.
Mate was doing the same, Passed his test 2 years ago and about to turn 20 but never driven since.
Learned to drive in a Corsa so started there. ££££ then moved onto all the other usual cars. Similar money.
How about a SAAB auto for £17 less.... He had to look twice. A 2L petrol car came out cheaper.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
