Help!!! Norton will not unblock traffic

My friend has clicked the block traffic option for Norton by mistake.

He has gone back and clicked the unblock traffic but it is not unblocking.

I've looked on Google for some info but as I'm not very techie, am not much help.

My friend knows less than me about PC's (is this possible???) and we have been trying to sort this out over the phone for the last hour but with no luck.

Please does anyone have any suggestions (other than dump Norton and use AVG):rotfl: or a telephone number for a Norton help desk (if one exists).

if you are using XP restore your pc to an earlier time,

start,all programs,accessories,system tools,system restore

click on restore my computer to an earlier time ,select a time ie the day before
he changed nortons settings

Other than that email norton ,but really norton is horrid you know

Will try and talk him through it and then suggest he gets rid of it in the future!
