Out earlier today parked up on what I thought was a pay & display on street space (other cars further down with parking paid little tickets) I displayed my blue badge hobbled round to get my son from the back of the car & called to a place nearby to sort something.
On return I see a PCN from a civil enforcement officer on the windscreen saying i've parked on a marked loading bay instead of a pay & display....the words on the ground in front of the bay are badly worn can barely make them out (apparently they dont replace worn road wordings now)..the loading bay sign is a small sign attatched to the top of the pay & display machine (I totally missed this one)
i've rang to ask of the appeal process they basically said dont bother i'll fail and next time I should open my eyes!! i'm worried sick about this now and thanks to an ongoing ESA issue have no cash to pay this PCN they said it will increase and increase till they issue baliff procedings against me..this has really thrown me I suffer with various health issues along with mental health issues meaning I get very anxious when trying to talk to someone i've never spoke to before etc
what the hell can I do?
