How long are financial connections relevant for?

I just checked my Noddle (Call Credit) credit report for the first time and have found that they have my-ex of many years ago listed as a financial connection!? Maybe many years ago we applied for a joint account or something, I can't remember. This has never showed up on Experian or Equifax and I certainly have nothing to do with him any more. On the website it shows the "last confirmed" date as in 2005. Will companies still be taking this into account when I make applications for credit? Can I get it removed?

I asked Equifax customer services about these and they said that you need to file a notice of disassociation if you are no longer connected.
this can be done as long as you have no joint financial product, irrespective if you are separated etc.
I would ask Noddle/call credit customer services as I suspect you will need to file a notice. Worth asking if you both need to do it, especially if you are no longer in contact.:beer:0
