Praise for random act of kindness

Many, many thanks to the gentleman who picked me up off the ground after a nasty fall in the town centre on Monday afternoon. :A

Being of an age these hurt a lot!

I was feeling groggy when he helped me up and made sure I was OK and as a result I didn't get the chance to thank him properly, or even get his name.

Restored my faith in humanity.

Sadly I was sober, maybe if I was drunk it wouldn't have hurt as much! :)

I like doing random acts of kindness, it gives you a nice feeling and makes the other persons day.

I live in Central London so it normally surprises people.

OP, hope you're better now. Thanks for posting, many people commit acts of kindness all over the country each day, because we only hear about the problems, the good things often get overlooked.

Nice thread. Dave_C - sorry you took a tumble; hope no lasting damage was sustained!

I think there should be more praise for "random acts of kindness". Costs nothing and affirms that there are plenty of good people out there, as well as the numpties.
