Decision Time

Hi,

DH and I need some help making a decision.

His job has been put at risk and his company is pushing him to take voluntary redundancy. 10+ staff being cut to 3.

I only work 12 hours a week, with no possibility of increasing hours.

What benefits are available to us? We know we will be able to restart tax credits (stopped as over the threshold) and JSA for him. By the time my wages have been deducted from JSA there is nothing left to claim, so signed off.

I've had a quick look on Turn2us.co.uk, it mentions Council Tax Benefit and Income Support, is that everything covered.

We have a DD 6 so get child benefit for her.

Will anything be affected by his redundancy payment?

Thank You
