Damaged goods on delivery!

I bought 2 leather settees for my disabled sons new home, they were bought from Furniture Village and were advertised as a cancelled order, when they were delivered there was a tear in the back of one settee. The delivery men took pictures and filed a report, they said to keep the settees as it was near Christmas and we would be contacted to sort it out.
In January I had to contact them only to be told they couldn't find the report! Eventually they found it and said that a technician needed to come out and assess the damage. He came out and said that they could replace the back of the settee and I would be offered a partial refund for the inconvenience.
Three weeks passed and I had no contact so once again I contacted them and was told they would look into it.
A week later I received a call from another company stating that they had the leather to replace the back and wanted to arrange a date to complete the repair.
I hadn't been contacted by Furniture Village during these weeks so I contacted them again and stated that I wasn't happy to have a repair and wanted it replacing "I had bought a new settee and expected a new one"
I was then told that the settees were reduced so much that they couldnt replace it as it was sold so much cheaper than its retail price.
I stated that I purchased two new two seater settees at the price they were advertised at and as they stated "a cancelled order"
The store manager offered me £50 and a repair and I stated that I wanted a replacement! A new settee which I had purchased!
Three weeks ago an area manager telephoned me and apologised for all the inconvenience and that he would sort it out personally and contact me.
On Tuesday almost 4 weeks later I had to call back, he didn't even remember me or the situation?
He then asked for my order number upon which he stated "Oh yes I do recall it now haven't you heard anything?"
"no I said you were dealing with it and calling me"
Again I went through the details and he replied with" we can't afford to replace your settees"
This is getting me so cross where do I go from here does anybody know what my actual rights are and am I entitled to a replacement?
Surely it's not my fault that they were selling the settees at a reduced cost, it didn't state no returns as it was a sale item, surely I'm entitled to what I purchased a new settee not a damaged one repaired?

You're entitled to a refund. Ask for one and vote with your feet.0

You are not legally entitled to a replacement sofa.
You can reject the sofa for a refund, or accept their remedy of a repair.0
