Applied to port woolwich mortgage- cant stand the wait.

I would like to move to a smaller house and have applied to port my woolwich mortgage. I currently owe£80000 on house worth £170000. Have applied for a £70000 mortgage on home I'd like to buy for£145000. A survey was done yesterday . It's 13 days since I applied and they said I would know within 2 weeks.
I was accepted straight away on the initial credit check but I am now fretting about an unused out of contract mobile phone which my husband Shud Hav cancelled and has a late payment on. Arghhhh
Can anyone offer any encouraging words?

    No.

    You just have to wait!

(The fact it's gone to survey will mean, hopefully, that the mobile isn't an issue).
  • Wouldn't worry at all.

New Woolwich system has the underwriting decision at the outset as well as the required documents needed. As long as all the documents are correct and match the application, then I would say the mobile phone account won't be an issue.
