Any ideas for using haricot beans?

    Yum, I like. I tend to cook in the slow cooker with chorizo, or similar.

    Another favourite thing is again in the slow cooker pork, cider, leeks, with dried porcini.

    ooh that sounds yum! what sort of pork? (if that's not a silly question - I don't buy pork often as I don't know what to do with it)

    Anything really, except for pork fillet as better for other things. Usually pork loin steaks, or shoulder steaks, but most bits really.

    I don't just use harictot beans. Black eye peas are good, cannellini beans, or butter beans too. In fact I tend to do the chorizo with black eye peas, and pork with butter beans mainly, but interchangeable so do use haricot.
