I wonder if you can help.
A friend is in the process of buying a house, in 2006 the vendor had a gas boiler fitted.
The solicitors are asking for the Gas Safe Documentation, and they are saying they don't have any.
My friend is due to be married in a few weeks and is meant to be moving this week and this lack of documentation means the mortgage company are refusing to move forward as it is a term of the conditions for the mortgage.
I have read up on Gas Safe and it states it was formed in 2010, so it is probably a Corgi document that is needed. I wonder if anyone can let me know what the document from Corgi is so that the vendor can search for it.
It is all getting very stressful for them, and I am trying to find a way to help them get through this bit
Thanks

Are you asking what it might look like, so they can look within the documentation for it?
If so, google-image "corgi gas certificate" for example images.
Is that what you meant?"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Thanks more to know what the name of the document is so they can look through their documents. By all accounts they are being very obstructive about it all.0 -
