Facebook account settings problems

My email and twitter accounts have been hacked and I fear than facebook will be next
I'm trying to change my password and email address in FB
I'm logged in ok and go to General Account Settings
Then I click on Edit email address, then Change but screen doesnt advance so theres nowhere to insert new email.
I go back to settings page and click on Password edit. put in current password then new password twice like it says.
The submit changes button is faded blue instead of usual darker blue and when i click on that nothing happens
Can anyone advise?
