Barclaycard missed payment - how long on credit file?

I missed a Barclaycard payment two and a half years ago (marked as a '1'). Will this be on my credit report for another three and a half years, or will it stay there for six years from whenever I close the account?

Comments

  • 6 years from the time of the missed payment - so another 3.5 years.

It will stay for 6 years, however as time progreses it will have less importance if everything is kept up to date
