Replacing Brakes
Apologies for starting a new thread here, I couldn't find an appropriate one to add on to.
I was recently informed by someone that supplied my new tyres that my brakes are gonna need doing. With the MOT almost due, I figure now is as good a time as any to get it sorted.
So, my question is, how much is reasonable to expect to pay a local garage (Reading area) to replace the front & rear brake pads on my Citroen C2 VTS?
Thanks
JK

Depending on the age/mileage you may need brake discs as well as pads, especially the front discs as these work harder than the rears0

Shouldn't be a huge amount of work, if you've got alloys and have half a brain you can usually see how much pad material is left on disk brakes. do a quick Google will shows you better than I can explain.0

Parts £40 ish
2 Hours labour so id expect change from £200 at local independent. Front wear quicker than the back so you may only need the fronts doing.0 -
Just paid £200 for the discs / pads on the Mrs Sharan. WOuld expect the C2's to be a little cheaper
Appears to be £225 at citroen0 -
I would say (work at garage) £65-£75 for a front or rear set fitted.Google gives you answers use it.........0
