The CSA seem to be an organisation hell bent on making honest people's lives impossible to live.

My mum's partner is having the same issue, the CSA payments, less their mortgage and bills mean that the two of them have £200/month to live on.

They will not listen to what you say to them on the phone, they seem to try and wind you up on the phone and then say you are uncooperative when you don't understand something.

I am going to try and get some help from their local MP, as dealing with them directly is impossible.

Good to see other's are here helping out though, thanks for the posts so far!

I look on the csa as a machine, there is no humanity about it, it is a machine driven to get the most money out of the NRPs and give as little as possible to the PWCs...

In my case, I had been paying for months, my ex had received nothing in that time, I didn't believe that she had not received payments, she didn't believe that I had been paying, the csa told her that they could only pay her if/when they received payments from me (even though I was paying on DEO)...

It was only when I gave my ex my payslips dating back to when I had started paying so that she could then call the csa and dismiss their "We can only pay you when we get money off him" excuses by quoting the payments off my payslips that they changed their tune (note...they don't like the NRP and PWC working together)...

It still took six months and her MP's involvement before the csa started paying her, and she claims that still owe her over £1000 of back payments that she has given up on ever receiving off them...

And they claim to be acting in the childrens' interests...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Your health comes first , some things are worth fighting for , some things best to let go of or would be too stressful to pursue anyway

Your CURRENT health is what matters....

    Are they taking £35 now???

The lower prescription charges seems a good idea = ANYTHING which helps give you enough to live on as I know struggling for enough money to live on is stressful in itself but you HAVE to take care of yourself for your quality of life now!!!

Make sure you eat as well as you can on a budget , get enough rest , look after yourself and AVOID stress as much as you possibly can as stress IS a killer and you really need to relax and take care of yourself for your futures sake and you have to care about you x
