Euro Car Park College Carpark Ticket

Hello everybody. Need your advice on these Euro Car Park tickets scams etc.

Parked my vehicle at college this morning ( I'm a student ) and returning back to my car and seeing a parking ticket notice on my wind-shield.

I have read many threads on here regarding Euro Cap Park scams and most of them say " Ignore It "

I always parked my car on college premises since September 2011 and it's all been fine until today's date.

Should I really ignore the ticket and what would you advice me to do next to fight back the ticket.

Thanks everybody!

Can't really say, as we don't know the reason for them ticketing you. Why did you get the ticket (in their opinion) where you've been in the clear in the past?

I parked my car in the " Car Share Only " area but I've been parking there since last year, no problem but today they decided to ticket me :(

That Car Share Only bays are unofficial and I've never seen them before and they don't display times or anything.

you can probably ignore it, it may be worth waiting for them to contact you before you do anything ( or nothing) in the meantime take a look at the colleges parkign policy. If they have one it will probably mention fines/penaltys etc etc private companies/bodies ( including colleges/hospitals/universities etc) cant charge penaltys .

Ignore it or appeal it (if in England/Wales). Your choice really but if you do appeal then take it to POPLA as well, read up on that on the forum.

Here's a thread similar to your case with suggested challenge wording and a pepipoo link I posted for them:
