do you know of any software, that the big book sellers use?

I am looking for the software that the 'big boys' use, to sell their books across all platforms.
the one where you can scan the ISBN number, and it will show up the current price of that book, and you can then list it if it is worth it.
I know I asked a few years back, but didn't do nothing about it.
Would appreciate any links or advice on them
thanks

I suspect it'll be proprietary - it is, after all, the whole of their business model and commercial advantage. Rather, in their shoes, if I'd written a system to do that, I wouldn't let it out of my sight!
What you could look at though is the smartphone apps for ebay, google shopping, amazon etc which all have barcode scanners which will pop up product details. If you're at a car boot and looking in the 20p box for worthwhile books, that would certainly work for you (assuming you were the first one to do it!)0 -
fillz
It price matches/undercuts to the instruction you give on most if not all of the book selling sites, its housekeeping for selling on many platforms is impressive but at a financial cost.
Post would be your biggest concern a PPI or business account would be needed to be competitive against the megalsiters, also a good storage system
Hugely competitive over flooded market if your stock is of low quality its low reward for much work.0 -

Seller Express is another, a new kid on the block, they all work on UK markets.

The Amazon / Abe forums as already advised would be a good bet but the megalisters to some, are not seen in a good light so some biased opinions may be given.
Anyway you should be selling them to you local FAVOURITE book dealer for 10p a thro I am sure he will take all your lovely 1st editions!!!!!
