Nationwide Select Credit Card - no longer using FlexAccount....

I have a NW Select Credit Card that I believe has some special features (commission free purchases abroad, 0.5% cashback) because at the time I had a FlexAccount as my main current account.

I've very recently switched my account - will Nationwide downgrade my credit card as a result?

Looking to close either this one or a Barclaycard with similar credit limit to have less available credit but the commission free purchases abroad are useful if they will continue without hassle...

The T&Cs (have you read them?) seem to say you'll only lose the 0.5% cashback, ie the foreign use benefits remain.

They also say that if they detect you no longer have a 'main current account' relationship with them they'll write to you to inform you of the loss of the cashback feature.

However, if it's anything like their free travel insurance on their FlexAccount, it'll be a while (maybe once a year?) before they contact you.
