Car Insurance - loss of sat nav

Hi,

Can anybody give me further information regarding loss of satellite navigation system from car?

I have got comprehensive insurance cover, and somebody broke the window of my car and took away sat nav system (Portable one). It was kept in the glove box and away from sight.

When I contacted the insurer, they said Portable sat nav systems are not covered.
