I know the song is in your head now Anyway, on to my question...
We're just looking at Gas and Leccy Prices due to the rise soon. I've checked around and First Utility is the cheapest for us by £70 a year. But I'm guessing this isn't a fixed rate, only standard variable one.
Or we could stay with Npower and move to a fixed price til Dec 2015 (we'll still be in the house by then so no worries of moving ) which would be a price increase of £5ish a month (£60 a year)
BUUUUUUT,
Do we know if Gas & Leccy prices are just going to keep going up and up stupidly high which makes First Utility dearer and dearer...
Sorry If that sounds gobboldy gook...Been a long morning already...
Cheers

The point is not whether to fix, but at what rate you fix. The cheap fixes are long gone now, last October saw most of them pulled before the recent increase.
ETC"s are not levied if you move house, so that's not a consideration anyway.
No-one has a clue where prices will go. A fix is an insurance policy, for which of course you pay a premium. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
