Following last week’s tip on free overseas maps to avoid data charges etc I downloaded the app but on trying to then download the maps the phone claimed insufficient memory - I have an sd card installed with more than sufficient memory
any tips for getting the download to the sd card?

as someone has said before it really depends on phone model etc i had wildfire could get app sdcardmemory manager could move it all around now have samsung galaxy s3 and samsung and a few others have turned this side of it off due to copying etc digital rights twits. problem is going to be with people running out of room on the smaller memory phones and this issue will only get worse with time unless they jack up memory on the phones. the only other thing to is root your phone if out of warranty my s3 can be turned up 300% on volume work that out but can't do it for warranty reasons bu**er!0

Its has to be what Android as 3.0 4.0 etc .
Latest Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean does not let you move apps to SD card .
Check Play for apps to sd applications .

Even if you use these apps which allow you to move to sd card, they can't move all of them. I find that about a third of my apps have to remain in the phone's memory.0

I got his app from Google Play Store. Its cal AppMgr III. It helps a lot to move what ever app that can be moved to your SD it works fine on Samsung Advance:beer:0
