@ zepsgal...you might get a free fireman's lift if you're a lucky girl....
Hi,
*NSD for me today as been at home entertaining a friend. Made lentil & tomato soup, homemade poppyseed rolls & muffins, all from stuff I had in, & it made for a nice lunch. Deliberately didn't watch the Budget speech as knew I'd end up wanting to put my foot through the telly, so I've got that joy to come tonight.
*Dinner tonight using last of rubber chicken - chicken stew on jacket potato & a load of broccoli & cauli that needs using.
*Did laundry overnight on Economy 7 at 30 degrees using my stingy amount of powder.
*Did surveys.
NOT a very money saving day on the energy bill front. Have had heating on all day as had friend round. I don't mind putting 4 layers on when it's just me, but don't feel I can really expect friends to sit in extreme cold. On the subject of energy bills (yes, a moan!), I take energy readings from our gas & electricity meters every weekend & keep a chart of what we use. Have now got data going back 3 years & it's really noticeable that even being stingy, we are currently using much more than the same weeks in 2011 & 2012. I guess it's because Winter seems to be going on for ever this year. Don't think I've suddenly started feeling the cold more.....tho' with all the weightloss, I suppose I have lost a lot of my padding!
Enough of my ramblings......
Bright Blessings to everyone this Spring Equinox,

hi folks :j
I had all great plans for today but they were ruined when I had to do unpaid overtime at work - stupidly busy at the moment
Anyhow, today I have/will:
- Meals from stores
- Checked banking
- Used rail pass to get to work
- Read paper online and freebie on the train
- Charged mobile at work
- Did not go to college as would've got home too late
- Need to gen up on a local company where I have an interview tomorrow
- Spoke to another agency about a possible job in home town
- Have an early night as I am not sleeping all to well at the mo
- Text a friend to arrange a meet up to plan our trip away
- Watching bits on the sky box
That's my lot for today
Will make more effort tomorrow
Take care all
