When i phoned them to find out what was going on i asked why they couldn't contact him through his place of work? Their response was that his employer wouldn't allow them to so there was no more that they could do.
Reading this makes me so mad.
As they have been in contact with the employer they will have his NI number, the full works. As for them stating the employer won't allow them to contact the NRP just beggers belief.
Did you know employers can be fined up to £1000 for not cooperating with the CSA?
Make a complaint via MP re: the CSA officer. They should also be made familiar with the Civil Sevice Code of Practice...see sticky.
Book an surgery appointment to see your MP pronto. I've always found telephoning my MP best.0 -

You are correct, the employer CAN be fined for not cooperating...
However, they have NO legal obligation to forward mail to an employee. That is NOT a postal address and they would not be fined for it...
They clearly have complied by admitting he works there and giving relevant details, however, unless the CSA can confirm an address for an employee they are under no obligation to send ANY info...
Read through the DEO orders, and the only reason you can appeal, this is that there are certain discrepancies, and pretty much the only one you can use is the address, without it you can do nothing. They can however search through other means, and the effective date may not yet be set. But the CSA have ways of finding people...! They could if needed have him served at his place of work and then there is NO argument... He would have received the paperwork and then if he didn't reply, the employer could be made to enforce a DEO0 -
