Parking ticket from Liverpool John Lennon airport.

I'm trying to give a friend some advice but I haven't seen the letter yet so don't know if its a private or council ticket. He stopped on double yellows in the airport to drop his brother off and was no more than 1 minute, is it the council that control this airport or is it a private firm and can he ignore the private one safe in the knowledge that they can't enforce it. £60 by the way.
Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.

Thank, I've just done a search on here and found out all he needs to know. They are indeed a private firm so I will tell him to ignore them.

Well researched! There are loads of threads here and on PePiPoo about John Lennon and other private airports attempting to extort money from people in this way.

In one case near Robin Hood airport, somebody got ticketed for stopping to post a letter. That was VCS.
