"To enter, all we want from you is a match report or an analysis piece between 400 and 600 words in length. It could be about Liverpool’s rising debts, Bradford City’s shot at the big time, or QPR’s survival fight. We’re looking for the most insightful, controversial and opinionated piece, so get creative! But it won’t just be us judging you. We’ve secured an all-star judging panel including Northampton Town’s Clark Carlisle and Football 365′s Nick Miller, who will decide the best 10 entries. The shortlisted submissions will then be posted on our blog, and it’s then up to the public – that’s you lot – to vote for the overall winner to be crowned Bets of Mates’ official Armchair Analyst.
The winner will be sent on an amazing trip to Nou Camp to watch the mighty Barca play, as well as becoming a regular paid Bets of Mates writer. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, right?
To enter, simply email your report to info@betsofmates.com, or click here to submit your piece online, making sure you tell us which club you support, as well as giving us links to your social media channels. The competition is running from today (18th March) til the 10th May, so get writing! The public vote will take place the following two weeks, and we’ll be crowning our official Armchair Analyst on 27th May."
