Universal Lifestyle Collection inside Pension - Costs?

Hi All

I have a pension with Scottish Equitable which I've left invested in the default fund, Univeral Lifestyle Collection. A quick search online reveals a thread or two where it gets generally ok reviews.

However, looking at the factsheet, part of this fund is invested into a further four managed funds. What kind of costs will the 'parent' fund be paying to the managed funds within it?

I assume similar to a retail invester, in which case investing in the Universal Lifestyle Collection is effectively forcing me to double up on costs, which I'd rather not be doing if I can avoid it. I have not checked but it is conceivable that the managed funds may be invested into further managed funds, increasing the costs yet further.

Can anyone shed any light onto how much you're really paying in fees for this kind of arrangement?

Thanks
