Anyone heard of Policy Expert?

They have good reviews and one of the cheapest quotes for home insurance, but I've never heard of them before.

They seem to be a broker and the company they are pointing me at is called VFM Cover who I have also never heard of, and nothing shows up with them on a google search.

Safe to buy?

    VFM Cover is another trading style of Policy Expert and the actual insurer is UK General Insurance (Ireland) Ltd. As an irish company they are not regulated by the FSA but operate under their EEA passport

    Cant say I've had any dealings with them to pass judgement on them

    Thanks - does that mean they are safe to insure with? What if the firm went bust?

    As they are trading in the UK you still get the normal FSCS protection if the insurer or broker goes bust (https://www.fscs.org.uk)
