You laughed?! Do you not realise how serious chocolate poisoning is? I would strongly advise you to take your poor dog to the vet to be checked out considering he has ate a large amount of milk chocolate that can be fatal.

And maybe keep chocolate out of reach next time so you can enjoy it to yourself without your dog being poisoned.

    Agree we vicx

Hope your dog is a BIG ONE

We've had several Great Danes and given they were all 12 to 14 stone it didn't do them any harm to give then a KitKat or similar once in a Blue Moon, but a relatively small bar of dark chocolate could kill a very small dog.

That's why there is such a product a DOG CHOCOLATE. It's had all the Theobromine removed which is very toxic for dogs.

The toxic dose for cats is actually far lower than that for dogs but fortunately most cats don't find eating chocolate a pleasurable experience due to their inability to taste sweetness. Unlike dogs.

Something else you should NEVER GIVE THEM - ONIONS or GARLIC, which contain organothiosulphates, or GRAPES & RAISINS

Again size of dog determines quantity that's toxic enough to make them unwell, quite sick or kill them
So beware of leftovers in the first instance and treats in the latter, or foods that contain them.
Our Great Danes would consume all of these given the chance
