Make sure that the checkout operator puts them through in 8s. I got 30 at 6 for a £1 on Saturday, she put them through 3 X 10 and I was overcharged by £2. T0

Several staff members were counting all the loose ones (there were many hundreds) in my local HB and wondering why I asked one of them.
Apparently they were asked to by the Area Manager who, they thought, was alarmed at the rate they were being sold (because they were TOO CHEAP :eek:) and believed this was the preamble to raising the price, or at least selling LESS than 8 to £1

I noticed the 6 for £1 advertised on HUKD yesterday but have been to two local Home Bargains today and both were selling them 8 for £1
