Hi All,
I need to put more RAM into my PC. I know what type I need from using the scanner on the Crucial website. What is the most money saving way of buying RAM? Can anyone recommend a particular supplier/website etc?
Thanks
SB

Crucial are normally pretty keen on price but depends on what type of RAM you're looking for. With the introduction of DDR2 and faster latency super duper RAM ebay is a good place for grabbing an ex-upgrade bargain.
For example, I'm selling 512mb of DDR2 ram on ebay at the moment and it's only on 99p!0 -
Thanks Fonz.
My PC needs:
DDR memory with support for DDR PC2700,DDR PC3200 speeds.

I'd say you'll find mountains of that on ebay
How much extra are you looking for - I might have the odd 256mb kicking around. 0 -
I'll go with ebay, bought loads of 2nd hand ram on there and never had a problem

Thanks guys.
Have a paltry 256mb (*wince*) on a Windows XP PC with a Pentium 4 2.8gb processor. I used to only use the PC for Internet and MS Office. Now I need it for photo editing, converting RAW files, I need to be able to edit TIFF files at 48mb size.0 -
I'm pretty sure I've got 256mb spare, I'll have a look over the weekend - you're welcome to it when I find it
