    Well I am glad you all find my predicament so amusing ;)

    It has helped in a way though as that was my food money for the rest of the week and I have managed to make do with cupboard meals.

    So if I do return it to a spendable state, dog will have saved me £10 this week :)

    Still haven't plucked up the courage to open the poo bag though...

    How about putting it through the washing machine? I have washed notes in the pockets of my jeans by accident and they do dry out unfolded!

    if you can, wearing rubber gloves, try to extract it from the poo bag with as little poo on it, then put it in a bucket of water and wash the rest of the poo off, then you could wash it again in a bowl with some detergent.
    Cats don't have owners - they have staff!! :D:p
