Electroll roll / credit card

Hi

Just a quick question I'm looking at applying for a new card in the next week or so I've just checked my credit report and its not showing I'm registered on the electroll roll although I know I'm defiantly registered and have been for a couple of months.

Is it worth waiting till it shown on my report or is it still worth applying ?

Thanks

Unless it is with your own bank I would wait.
  • I had to contact Equifax and Experian to advise that I was on the roll - they updated the info on my report within two weeks.
  • Own bank should be fine - others you might be referred and then passed so long as you have long standing up to date account history.

I was accepted for a Capital One Card and a Lloyds card 2 years ago whilst off the roll.

No need to be defiant - it's good to be on the electoral roll! ;)

As has just been said, wait til the reports reflect that before applying.
