Now I know I cant get the apps I want on my Blackberry I am looking for a tablet but my budget is limited and I think I'd like about an 8" screen

Ive looked at this one

and this one

both have a lot of good reviews and as usual the not so good but since I am spending the OHs money not mine I dont want to make a big mistake

Any other makes to look at too please but Id rather not go smaller than 8"

And no sniggering

Ployer Momo8 is with better spec.

However, I suggest you go for Sumvision. It is sold by ebuyer, so it would be easier to get support when anything goes wrong.

Any particular reason why you want an 8 " rather than say a 7 or 10 which are the more recognised screen sizes ?

The Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 7 is a cracking piece of kit by the way for 80 quid

The Ployo is good and slightly has the edge on the spec. but I have seen the wifi reception questioned in various places - so I agree the Sumvision Cyclone is a safe bet, not seen many bad words for it. (The other one the A1CS is single core and not the best.) Edit: some reviews mention lockups, probably more to do with having Jellybean than the actual tablet.

8" tablets are a good choice in my book as they tend to be squarer giving a lot more actual screen area than the more rectangular 7" models as the measurement is the diagonal dimension

ebuyer are a good seller I have used many times for years. Don't forget cashback! Topcashback pay between 1.5 - 6% depending what category the item falls in.
European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.

    Although I can't speak for Op. But those 7" cheap tablet usually with 800 x 480 screen, while 8" have 1024 x 768.

Fair enough but I can't say I've noticed any issues or lack of clarity with 800 x 460.....even with my glasses on :)

I was thinking of 8" so I can more easily enlarge whats on the screen without it being too big for the screen if you know what I mean but i dont want one so big its a pain to carry about.
