You pensioners better make the best of it while you can because austerity is coming to you in a couple of years or so and rightly so, why should working age people have to take all the cuts.
You have had it easy so far so stop moaning:mad:0 -

How about planning departments?
There is no point calling before 10.30 or after 4.00pm
I know I try lol
or
the blokes who empty my dog bin that's bloke(s), one jumps out of the van while the other sits there watching.
or the library van with a qualified librarian £32k on board (union insistence), which parks outside the councillors house on an estate where every house has two cars?
That planning office is abit like my bank, noone there either, well not in this country.
You are very lucky to have your own dog bin we have to share. Perhaps it is to keep the steering wheel sterile."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

What cuts have you received then that you feel are unfair, many will no doubt be affecting the pensioners too?"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

your bank has competition, no such worries for your council.
How would I know what they are spending my money on if they didn't communicate with me?"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Bung every penny on their website in black and white.0 -
The new single tier state pension is actually very good news for public sector employees. They'll pay a little more in NI, 1.4%, but they'll get a better state pension as a result which will be worth much more.
The govt have already said they won't reduce pension accrual for public sector schemes to make up for the increased employer NI contributions, so for just 1.4% extra they get better occupational pensions than almost anyone else plus the same state pension as those who don't have such generous schemes.0 -

But who would do that?
Needs to be written and in such away that I think they are doing an outstanding job and that I should be grateful.;)"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
